FORM NYC

Core Programmatic Offerings

The FORM NYC Stop Street Harassment Campaign is a powerful initiative driven by the founder's unique writing and poetic ability. Through the art of Haikus, this campaign aims to combat street harassment in NYC by spreading awareness and fostering change.

These Haikus are transformed into stickers, magnets, and store decals, serving as community reminders to all, especially men, that street harassment is not only illegal in NYC but also menacing to women and dangerous to our youth. It challenges the antiquated practice of street harassment and calls for its end.

By blending art and activism, FORM NYC encourages the community to stand together against street harassment, making the streets of Brooklyn safer and more respectful for everyone. These Haikus are a creative and thought-provoking way to raise awareness and promote positive change in our city.

STOP Street Harassment Campaign

FORM NYC's Safe Space for Men is a unique and inclusive program designed to foster personal growth, empowerment among men, and serve as a mental health check in as men are known to suffer in silence. This program embodies the core pillars of FORM NYC: self-awareness, skill-building, community, and accountability. Open to men seeking a supportive community, the FORM Safe Space offers a range of engaging activities and programs.

FORM SAFE SPACE

My Brother’s Calling is a mentorship program dedicated to improving self-awareness and accountability in young men. This social emotional learning initiative serves to inspire students to view themselves as respected, skilled and valuable assets to a community. Opportunities for private, honest, guided conversation will create consistent, safe spaces for community and counsel. A variety of instructor-led training and certification activities aim to instill students with an increased sense of purpose and brotherhood.

The goals of this include: providing young men with mentors who are representative of their communities in order to illustrate the possibilities of success and offer positive role models; creating a safe space for men to request advice and guidance without fear of judgment or ridicule; and hosting skill-building activities to encourage an elevated sense of preparedness and confidence.

My Brother's Calling

Program Highlight: My Brother's Calling

FORM NYC continuously seeks mentors of diverse backgrounds in an attempt to represent a full spectrum of masculinity. Importantly, all FORM NYC mentors engage in training sessions that clarify and establish expectations and guardrails for working with youth.

Encourage Mentorship

FORM NYC facilitates professional development activities meant to
encourage an elevated sense of
preparedness and confidence. Opportunities for skill-building are inherently designed as co-learning experiences to highlight the importance of intergenerational learning.

Promote Skill-Building

FORM NYC regularly plans and hosts in-person celebrations where our constituents and extended community mentors meet, bond, and share life experiences.

Center Community Engagement

FORM NYC aims to build long-lasting relationships and a sense of brotherhood by encouraging discussion, activities
and educational opportunities
leading to personal growth and the destabilization of oppressive practices.
